
Price
The competition has a prize pool of €20,500.
For each of the two categories:
- 1st prize: €5,000
- 2nd prize: €3,000
- 3rd prize: €2,000
Common price for both categories:
- Audience price: €500
The finalists will benefit from:
- a cash prize;
- a 4 to 5 day residency with the European Youth Symphony Orchestra Eurochestries International;
- of media coverage;
- from a live recording of the play on the day of the final;
- guaranteed visibility within the Eurochestries International network and with its partners.
Who ?
- Category 1: Composers under 30 years of age (born after March 31, 1997)
- Category 2: composers aged over 30 (born before March 31, 1997).
Procedure
- Round 1: Each composer will submit a musical excerpt of two to three minutes, accompanied by a statement of intent of 10 to 15 lines describing the final concept of the work.
Deadline: August 31, 2026
- Round 2: Each selected composer will submit the complete score
Deadline: March 31, 2027
Duration
- 6 to 8 minutes for category 1
- 8 to 10 minutes for category 2
- All styles and aesthetic forms are permitted.
- The works must be able to be performed by high-level youth orchestras
