Born in 1978 at Narbonne, Maxime Raynal studies piano, wind section and writing at the Conservatoire National de Région at Perpignan where he initiates equally to jazz. Later on, at the Centre des Musiques Didier Lockwood which he exits qualified, he interestedhimself to arrangemnts, writing, composition and musical computer science.
His experience as a piano teacher at the Ecole de Musique de Leucate enables him to be an entitled accompanist of choirs and musical groups, of the Seine et Maarne in Pyrénées Orientales. As a pianist composer, Maxime Raynal has alsso collaborated in short and long movies and has composed the music of a dance ballet for Nick Blumenfeld. To celebrate the hundredth anniversary of the birth of Dimitri Chostakovitch, he has also participated at the Concours International de Musique Symphonique DSCH in Moscow.
Occasional arranger for Big Bands of the department of the Aude (including the Big Bands Narbonnais) thus for variety orchestras in the Pyrénées Orientales, Maxime Raynal is the founder of the jazz quartuor “Etek” with whom he has played in numerous rooms and festivals.
