The Eurochestries festivals 2009 ended on an unprecedented success, deserving of this 20th anniversary which we wanted magnificent: orchestras and quality choirs, public enthusiast and in number, new participating countries, creation of a federative hymn, etc.

This year, 918 musicians participated in 5 festivals Eurochestries and in concerts and associated festivals, representing 14 different countries: Austria; Bulgaria; Spain; France; Poland; Czech Republic; Rumania; Russia; Slovakia; Ukraine; and, beyond Europe, Brazil; Canada; China and Japan.

To note the presence this year of 3 new participating countries: Bulgaria, Brazil and Japan.

93 concerts were so organized under the banner "Eurochestries ".

The creation of the Hymn of Eurochestries, sign of cohesion and brotherhood, was very appreciated by the participants and by the public.

The Eurochestries, Festival of Youth Symphonic Orchestras, develops its image across Europe by its willingness to gather and bring together young musicians and singers, conductors and composers. The Eurochestries contribute to the development of trade policy in favour of youth orchestras. Europe represents a great hope for this musical youth : developing an artistic brotherhood

The international congress of the Federation of Eurochestries festivals
will take place

from 29th till 31th january 2010 in Kosice, in Slovakia.

The congress is the opportunity for all, members of the board of the Federation of Eurochestries festivals, organizers, participants to the festivals Eurochestries, musicians, composers, publishers, etc., meet together, once a year, to exchange, discuss, progress, and continue to make live and develop Eurochestries.
